Furny Matter was built on the idea that home furnishings should be affordable and exceptional in style and value. One of the founders of Furny Matter, Lam, has always possessed a deep passion for design and an unwavering love for transforming spaces into havens of beauty and comfort. Inspired by her innate creativity and fueled by a desire to share her unique vision with the world, she decided to embark on a journey to establish her own furniture business.
With the aim of offering 'Designer Furniture at Un-designer Prices', Furny Matter met with the representative of GDF Studio from the United States of America, a renowned online furniture store with a strong presence on Amazon, eBay, Overstock, Walmart, Target, and other platforms. After countless brainstorming sessions, intense exchange of ideas, and sharing of visions, the collaboration between us and GDF Studio kicked off in 2020.
Furny Matter then launched its first e-commerce website while actively promoting their furniture pieces on Facebook and Instagram. The launch was met with tremendous excitement and acclaim. People marveled at the timeless aesthetics and functional design of the furniture, appreciating the collection's ability to cater to a diverse range of tastes and attention to detail.
Aside from online platforms, Furny Matter established its first brick-and-mortar showroom in 2022 to cater to the traditional market. We also expanded our reach to Zalora Lifestyle, aiming to infuse the spirit of high street fashion into every Malaysian's home and create an appealing brand that resonates with fashion-conscious consumers, standing out in the competitive market.
